We’re charity of the year!

We were so proud be awarded Charity of the Year at the Love Where We Live Awards on Tuesday 4th October 2017. The annual awards are organised by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and celebrate those making a difference in the local community.

The award recognises the passion and dedication of all our staff at St George’s. In particular, it shines a light on our assisted childcare places scheme, which enables us to support vulnerable children and local families in need. As the only nursery in Tunbridge Wells to provide this service, we make a real difference to families who find themselves in very difficult circumstances.

Councillor Lynne Weatherly said:

“The Love Where We Live awards are a wonderful opportunity for us to acknowledge and thank individuals, organisations, charities and businesses who make our borough a great place to live and work.”

“We received over 200 nominations and the judges faced a very difficult task of selecting winners from all of these entries. Listening to the stories behind the winning nominations was both inspiring and uplifting.”
