At St George’s, we believe that no child should miss out on quality childcare just because of their family circumstances.
Our aim is to provide the very best possible care, regardless of whether people can afford to pay full fees or not. In fact, we are the only nursery in Tunbridge Wells that offers free or subsidised childcare places to families who are in need or find themselves in a time of crisis.
This unique service provides a lifeline to parents and carers in difficult circumstances. While their children are safe in our care, parents have the time and space they need to make positive changes in their lives for their family.
St George’s is only able to provide this vital service thanks to generous donations and the support of volunteers.
As a registered charity, any profit we make goes back into the nursery – for example purchasing new equipment or making improvements to the building and garden. You can find out how donations make a difference here
We are a small charity, but we make a very big difference in our local community and whether financial or in kind, the help of our supporters is really important to us.
How you can help
Our staff and many parents and carers help raise extra funds by supporting our summer and Christmas fairs, coffee mornings and sports days. If you would like to get involved, you can see our upcoming events here
