What to expect in the Early Years Foundation Stage: a guide for parents’ is a guide for parents of children from birth to five years old published by the Department for Education. The purpose is to guide parents through how their child is learning and developing in relation to the frameworks we follow here at St George’s, The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Development Matters. It will help you find out more about your child’s learning and development in the EYFS and offers tips for fun, playful experiences that you and your child can do together at home.
