A Wonderful Winter Fair! Sat 22nd December 2025

We had an amazing afternoon with lots of lovely families at our Winter Fair this year. The Fair took place here in our garden on Saturday 22nd November, 11am to 1pm, and although we had some rain, we made the most of our festive celebration.
We had a Santa’s Grotto for the children, Captain Fantastic providing entertainment, and lots of games to play including the popular ‘adopt a teddy’ stall! For the grown-ups, there was a boozy bottle tombola, a raffle featuring brilliant local prizes, and lots of delicious refreshments including warm sausage rolls (kindly donated by Fuller’s Butchers), plus homemade mince pies, cakes and hot mulled wine.
Not only was it a lovely event for our local community and our St George’s families, but we also raised over £1,000 which we’re really pleased with.
All the proceeds raised from the Winter Fair and Raffle go towards sourcing new equipment and resources for our setting, making necessary updates to our building and garden for the benefit of all the children we care for, as well as providing subsidised places to local families in crises.
A massive thanks, as always, to our volunteers; we couldn’t run these fairs without your help.
