Fundraising for us

Organising a fundraising event or taking part in a sponsored challenge is a great way to get involved. Whether you’re an individual, school, business or local group; a fundraising event could make a big difference to local families who need our support.

Organise your own event

You could get friends together for a coffee morning, afternoon tea or quiz night, have a pyjama day at school, organise a mini fête, barbeque or garage sale, or ask people to make donations at your birthday party.

Please get in touch for more ideas and to find out how we can help you make your event a success. For a bit of extra inspiration, take a look at these great fundraising ideas

Get sponsored

Take on a fun, new challenge and support St George’s at the same time. Run, walk, cycle, swim, parachute, abseil, dress up… the possibilities are endless.

Whatever your age or ability, there’s probably already an event that you could get sponsored for. Here are a few popular events in or near Kent:

Run or Dye Colour Run at Penshurst Place
The Brighton Colour Run
KM Dragon Boat Race in Maidstone
Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon

If you’re feeling really adventurous, you could take on a big event like the London Marathon, RideLondon or the Three Peaks Challenge.

If you’re thinking of taking part in any event, please download the St George’s sponsorship form here.

Get your company involved

Supporting a local charity is a great way to motivate employees and give something back to your community. You can organise your own fundraising event at work, sponsor one of our events or volunteer your time and services.
