Fundraising for us
Organising a fundraising event or taking part in a sponsored challenge is a great way to get involved. Whether you’re an individual, school, business or local group; a fundraising event could make a big difference to local families who need our support.
Organise your own event
You could get friends together for a coffee morning, afternoon tea or quiz night, have a pyjama day at school, organise a barbeque or garage sale, or ask people to make donations at your birthday party.
Please get in touch for more ideas and to find out how we can help you make your event a success.

Take on a fun, new challenge and support St George’s at the same time. Run, walk, cycle, swim, parachute, abseil, dress up… the possibilities are endless. And if you can raise a minimum amount (we usually say £150), we’ll reimburse your entry fee.
Get in touch with our Fundraising Manager Amy, if you’d like to take on a challenge to raise money for us, we’d love to support your fundraising challenge!
It’s really simple to set up a Facebook Fundraising Page, just click on the ‘Raise Money’ button.

Case study: Steph
“There’s a massive sense of achievement”
Steph is one of our childcare staff and has been with us for over 20 years.
“St George’s is a very special place and the work we do is really important for our community. We believe that every child deserves to be happy and that everyone should be able to have the best childcare.”
“I’m very proud of the fundraising I do for St George’s. Every penny I raise goes towards childcare for families in need or buying new equipment for the nursery.”
“Running the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon and Run or Dye 5K colour run was definitely challenging, but I loved pushing myself. Besides raising money, these events were personal goals and there’s a massive sense of achievement. I think most people could do the 5K colour run; you can do it at your own pace and no matter how much you raise, every little bit helps!”
