Gifts in kind
There are many ways that you could support St George’s Childcare beyond making a donation.
Perhaps you own a business that could offer your services for free – such as printing or venue hire? Or you may want to contribute your skills and knowledge for free to help our charity and the families we support. We’re always grateful for raffle and tombola prizes for our summer and Christmas fairs.
For example, Notcutts Garden Centre have donated flowers and fruit trees for our garden, and Fast Labels donated a vinyl sign and stickers.
If you or your business would like to support St George’s, please contact amy.pearcewatts@stgeorgeschildcare.co.uk or call 01892 543 982.
Toys, books and games
We get lots of donations of toys, books etc – much more than we can use or sell! – so here’s an idea of what would help us:
What we love
Prizes (especially ‘experience’ prizes such as vouchers) for our annual raffles
Tombola prizes (bottles, wine, gifts)
New, high-quality toys that the children can use
What we can’t take
Toys and games that are broken, dirty or have pieces missing
Car seats, prams etc (we can’t guarantee their safety)
As a rule of thumb, if it’s something you would buy or give as a gift please bring it in – if not, it’s probably best for recycling!
Get in touch if you have gifts you’d like to donate to St George’s Childcare.
