Your Child’s Wellbeing and Learning
Will I receive any updates on how my child is getting on?
When your child starts at St George’s you will be sent login details for our parent app, ParentZone. Your child’s keyworker, and other childcare staff will add pictures, information and updates on there for you. If while your child is settling in, you want to phone their Childcare room to ask how they’re doing, you’re able to call us anytime.
What will my child learn at Nursery/Preschool?
Here at St George’s, your child will learn through play.
Throughout their early years, play is one of the most important things for your child, as it helps them to discover that learning can be lots of fun. At St George’s, we offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, so that every child has the chance to develop their natural curiosity. We are governed by Ofsted and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); the government framework that sets standards for care and learning in the early years. This framework, plus our Key Person approach, gives every child continuity, security, reassurance and a chance to learn and grow as they play.
