New water play table for Moles

Thanks to Senior Childcare Leader Zsuzsi’s fundraising, Moles (ages 2 – 3 years) have been able to buy a brand new water play table. They’ve already been using it in lots of different ways – filling it with coloured water and animals, bubbles and washing baby dolls (and Chloe’s face!).

Zsuzsi raised over £450 in sponsorship when she trekked to Mount Everest’s Base Camp in December. She chose to buy the water play table from Community Playthings to give the children more opportunities for messy play.

Messy play is very important to early years development as it allows children to make their own discoveries using their senses, curiosity and knowledge. As you can see from these photos, it’s also lots of fun!
