Badgers Easter parade

The children have been taking part in lots of fun Easter activities, including an Easter bonnet parade and a visit to Ashurst Rest Home.

On 20th March, Badgers arrived in their homemade Easter bonnets and had a great time displaying their creations in their Easter parade. Parents joined us for a coffee morning and helped to raise £154 for new equipment, including picnic tables, for the balcony.

Moles took part in an Easter egg hunt a week later, searching the garden for eggs hidden by the staff. The children loved collecting the eggs in their bags – and gobbled up a few before the hunt was even over!

Badgers and Little Dragons visited Ashurst Rest Home on 28th March for their annual Easter celebration. They sang with the residents and went on an Easter egg hunt. It was lovely to see the different generations having so much fun together.

Little Dragons also made Easter nest cakes and held a fundraising raffle to raise £95 for new toys and equipment. Find out how you can fundraise for St George’s Childcare.

Happy Easter from St George’s Childcare!
