Steve completes the 2022 London Marathon and raises an amazing £3,700!

Steve Glew, a supporter of St George’s, ran the London Marathon on Sunday in an impressive time of 4.06 hours!

The course is a staggering 26.219 miles with around 42,000 participants. The course starts in East London near Blackheath and Greenwich Park and finishes in The Mall, taking in the amazing sights around London, including the Cutty Sark, London Bridge, Canary Wharf and Buckingham Palace.

A massive thank you to Steve, for taking on this momentous challenge, and a thank you to everyone who donated to support Steve and St George’s. You’ve raised a brilliant £3,700!

Sadly our other supporter Cameron Firth, had to pull-out of the race last minute due to an injury, we wish him a speedy recovery!
